Welcome to:
Joe Webb for HD19
The endorsement I care most about IS YOURS
We are at a crossroads in time where we need elected officials who will unwaveringly and unashamedly support and defend our Constitutional freedoms.
We need regular, hardworking Wyoming people who understand the troubles we all face on a daily basis and who are willing to fight the status quo and return our county and state back to the freedom-loving place I grew up in.
Honest
Down-to-Earth
Committed
I am a Wyoming native and my wife Sharon and I have lived in the Bridger Valley for nearly 40 years. We have 5 children and 13
grandchildren. Our professional lives have been all about public service. Sharon was a school teacher for 27 years and I spent 16 years in law enforcement followed by 25 years in the IT industry with of those as the Technology Director for the Lyman School District and 14 years as the Technology Director for the Mountain View School District. I have owned and operated a small computer/network support business for 23 years and have supported many local businesses as well as public entities including the Town of Lyman, Town of Mountain View and the Bridger Valley Joint Powers Board. Because of this unique association with both the private and public sectors, I have a pretty good grasp on how government should work and the importance of keeping it small and fiscally responsible.
We love the small-town feel of our county and the close-knit mentality. We care for each other and that can't be said of all
communities and it is why we live here.
With the support of good, honest men and women, I will represent not only the residents of House District 19, but also the
historic values of the people of Wyoming.

I believe that Life begins at conception. The Declaration of Independence states, "...that all men are created equal, that they are
endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness."
I believe the Constitution was established to protect mankind from oppression. The government exists to secure our rights, not
to grant them. These rights come from our creator and are fundamental. I believe that any taxes collected by government should be treated as sacred as those funds represent the sweat equity of those individuals who produced them. The Republican Party Platform states that, "All taxes collected must be used for the Constitutional purposes of government." Our current taxation rates, especially in property taxes, are overbearing and unnecessary.
I believe the 2nd Amendment can be summed up in four words..."shall not b infringed."
I believe very strongly in the First Amendment to the Constitution which clearly states, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition Government for a redress of grievances."
I strongly believe we must protect our children and do everything we can to provide an environment that allows them to grow up into stable adults that are capable of making rational decisions.
I believe that a small, fiscal government is in line with our U.S. Constitution and our Wyoming values. Increased spending, often frivolously, is a danger to our foundations of freedom and liberty. How will we justify the spending to those future generations who will have to pay the tab?
I believe that it has never been more important in my lifetime for the states to reclaim the rights granted to them in the 10th Amendment; "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited to it by the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or the people."
